Nottingham Local
Healthy Schools Programme

The Nottingham Local Healthy Schools Programme is led and delivered through a partnership between Children's Services and the Primary Care Trust. Its aims are:

  • To support children and young people in developing healthy behaviours
  • To help to raise pupil achievement
  • To help to reduce health inequalities
  • To help to promote social inclusion
The Healthy Schools Team provide a free advisory and training service supporting schools to follow a 'Plan, Do and Review' cycle of health and wellbeing improvements for children and young people. Please feel free to contact any member of the team for help and support.
